Merrion Cottage was wonderful for my partner, our golden retriever and I. It's a very small cottage, but so super cosy, doesn't
feel cramped and still has everything you would need and more for a long stay. The kitchen was well stocked with some lovely
treats, good selection of cooking utensils, plates, bowls and cups. Vicky is a wonderful host and was so inviting and lovely.
We will definitely return to Merrion Cottage for our next walking holiday!

Myself and my partner had never been to North Wales before, but staying in this Airbnb made things feel like
a home away from home. The host was very responsive and very kind to our questions and requests.
The space was very warm and the location was so picturesque and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

It was my husband's birthday and im glad that we chose merrion cottage. Thanks to Vicky, what an amazing host she is. She helped me
to surprise my husband on his birthday (decorated the cottage with some lights, flower what not) even she baked
the cake last minute. Would definitely book this cottage again in future. Also the cottage is in best location,
few miles from the attractions. Thank you vicky for being an amazing host

Nice quirky cottage in one of the few areas of North Wales I have never explored. This was a last-minute
booking as part of a longer trip - I wasn't actually sleeping there the first night due to an overnight
mountain climb\camp. The cottage itself was very comfortable and reasonably well equipped. It's always
welcome to have a few fridge items like milk & butter, along with some other treats - a nice touch
which I used to see a lot years ago, but is increasingly becoming less common. Issues beyond the hosts'
control included parking and the noise from the air conditioning unit across the road. Not an issue if
you keep the windows closed, but it was a tad warm during my stay. I managed to get a parking space in
the church car park once overnight, and that was with half the car on the road. The only space I found
within reasonable walking distance was the roadside further down, with car an inch off the wall -

Thanks Dan, for a very comprehensive review that will be of great help to future guests and ourselves.
The parking situation varies from day to day and by the time of day. For changeovers, we have always
been able to park in the chapel carpark, and guests have usually been able to park there overnight,
but occasionally they have had to park along the road.

If you're looking for a peaceful little cottage in a sweet Welsh village that's well within
driving distance of anything the Snowdonia area has to offer - I can't recommend this
property enough! Very proactive and responsive hosts. Bonus, the back garden has a
gate straight into the local beer garden.

Such a lovely cottage perfect for a weekend away, very close to places like Go below and Zip world activities.
Very clean and cosy and great hosts, good communication throughout. A nice local pub pretty much next door,
all of the locals were lovely and loved our dog givning him lots of treats.. Already talking about going back.
Thanks a lot for a lovely stay.
The only downfall was the access to the garden was upstairs (spiral staircase) which was tricky for letting
our dog out for the toilet. Our dog would not go up and probably would not get back down if he did as they
are a little narrow and steep. Other than this is was wonderful.

Coat cottage stay for two
It was cosy (and cool during the heat wave), well equipped and perfect for a couple exploring Snowdonia
national park for a long weekend. Easy to find with Marks instructions and parking was very close by,
handy local shop opposite and the pub next door.
No complaints.

Very cosy little cottage in a quiet village, with walking routes, shop, pub and parking on your
doorstep. Absolutely loved the wood burner. Will definitely come back - perfect place to relax!

Lovely cottage , nice and cosy , recommended
Lovely cottage , well thought out with an amazing log burner. Mark has kitted the cottage out with
everything you could need. We had a lovely relaxing stay.
Parking around the corner and up the road was a small issue but would not stop us staying again.

Cosy cottage
Lovely quirky little cottage that has been tastfully decorated.
The logburner made it very cosy.
The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils etc you would need.
The local store is just opposite and the pub accessible through the gate in the garden

Cosy, cute cottage.
Gorgeous, cosy, little cottage. Super comfy bed and pillows. Well equipped with everything
you need. Shop literally across the road. Would definitely stay again.
It is a bit of a drive out to anywhere but we went to chill and get away for a few nights
with the dogs. Pub which is practically next door but was not open on the day we wanted
to try there.
